Afro Hollywood Award 2016-Nominees Out As  New Film Workshop Is Born-The African Hollywood Award from now will hold major workshops aimed at promoting and building interest capacity within the Black British Film industry, especially among the youths

The initiative has been put together by the organisers of the 2016 African Hollywood award of excellence which will hold on November 6, 2016. The new initiative is to further add value to the yearly award and also aimed to build higher interest of participation and increase involvement capacity in the industry.

According to Mr Mike Abiola, the Publisher of African Voice who spoke on behalf of the Organising Committee, the organisation has entered into agreement for a Master Class/Training Workshop, holding partnerships with an award-winning and Independent Producer/Executive Producer of 20 drama series, The 6 TV movies and 16 feature films, co-founder of Red Rooster Film as well as Television Entertainment Companies.

The training workshop is designed to create a new dimension in African cultural promotion and to chart a new pathway to success, encouraging new entrants into the film industry and digging out raw talents of the future.

More emphasis would be placed on the areas of acting, film funding, distribution, producing, directing, short film project and script writing.

A call has gone to the members of the public interested to participate to mail: marketing@africanvoiceonline.co.uk

The closing date remains the end of this month as interested parties are required to register by 31st October 2016.
