The 15th Afro-Hollywood Award ceremony comes up on Saturday November 6, 2010 at the traditional venue, Stratford Town Hall in London. All hands have been on deck to make this year’s award a special one as it coincides with Nigeria’s season of 50th year Independence anniversary celebration
Among the recipients of the award last year was Mona Lisa Chinda, Funke Akindele and Omo Baba, the great comedian. Other include media executives from across the United Kingdom and Africa.
The celebration of the best African Film Award will see the gathering of many new cream of Nollywood Stars in the multi cultural historic Stratford Town Hall in London the customary venue of the yearly event.
This year’s celebration has been described as a carry over celebration of Nigeria’s Independence Celebration which commenced on October 1, this year.
Mr Mike Abiola, the award chief executive and Publisher of African Voice Magazine said this years award will witness cultural celebrations and light music performance withcomedy display.
We are determined to add glamour to Nigeria’s Golden Jubilee celebrations with the feature of new breed Nollywood actors and actresses.
