Gulak Resigns As National Coordinator Of Goodluck Support Group-The national coordinator of Goodluck Jonathan support Group (GSG), Barrister Ahmed Gulak has relinquished his position as the national coordinator of the group.

Goodluck Support Group is  a  political goodwill body that campaigned for the president’s election in 2011 and currently has held its activities on a top gear to achieve victory for the president in the coming election.

Barely three days after he was sacked  as the political adviser to the President, he threw in the towel as the national coordinator of  the group, rescinding  position. His letter of  resignation dated May 2, 2014 and addressed to the deputy national coordinator of the group, Eddy Olafeso,  entitled, “Resignation/Disengagement from Goodluck Support Group” was sent in and received by the deputy.

Even though no reason was given for Gulak’s rescinding of his position, emn-news revealed during the week his intention to contest for the gubernatorial election of PDP in Adamawa state last week after a source unveiled reasons for his exit in London.
Gulak was full of sportsmanship spirit, urging his deputy to remain undeterred, steadfast and focused in the mobilisation of all for the need to keep supporting  President Jonathan in what he described as his sincere and committed effort to take the country to an enviable level of development. He remains loyal to the president and urged his deputy to carrying on the group’s activities.
Gulak few weeks ago was in the United States of America and Britain to launch the group and motivated them for the task of ensuring the president’s reelection in 2015. His engagement in London was met with huge success as many Nigerians in the Diaspora was in attendance following huge publicity that the president himself was doing the launching.
