David Beckham, Son, 15, Escape Car Crash Injury

England former Captain and one of the most known face in Wold football David Beckham last weekend escaped from sustaining a serious injury following a car crash.

The former Manchester United star was seriously shaken as he emerged from the accident with minor injury after he ran into another car.

Sun Newspaper reported that Beckham in the company of his teenage son Brooklyn had emerged from a field of play where the son had  gone for football practice in Hertfordshire, a venue where Arsenal normally occupy for its training.

The instant deployment the star’s Audi’s airbag was said to be the saving grace as the duo of dad and son were lucky to have escaped serious injuries. The Sun reported that Brooklyn was the luckiest as the 15-year old left the car unscathed after the  collision, though was badly shaken..

Beckham, 39, the former England captain, was picking up his 15-year-old son when his Audi was involved in a collision outside Arsenal’s training ground in London Colney , Hertfordshire.

The Sun reported a source close to the  Beckhams as saying both da and son were rattled by the accident: “They were shaken. It was quite a heavy prang at quite a speed but everybody walked away uninjured. Everybody’s fine. Thankfully the car’s airbags deployed.”

Beckham was picking up Brooklyn, after he had featured  in  Arsenal under-16s match against Brighton under 16s and the match had just ended as Beckham picked the 16 year old heading for home.

The lady driver in the other vehicle sustained minor injuries with her daughter and were  allegedly taken to the Hospital for treatment.

The star was said too have been massively apologetic and had offered the shocked lady driver his jumper as they both waited for help.

Thomas Cadman, who plays for Brighton under-16s also flashed the incident  on Twitter: “Weird to play against Brooklyn Beckham earlier. Even weirder to be currently stuck behind David Beckham as he has crashed his car.

Archie Davies, his team-mate, said: “Just seen David Beckham looks like he got in a car crash and hurt his shoulder. Star struck by seeing David Beckham tbh.’

Brooklyn was signed by Arsenal on a short-term contract in November. His brother, Romeo, 12, and Cruz, nine, have also been playing for the club’s underage teams.

According to BBC News, however, the female driver in the other vehicle involved was taken to the hospital following the incident.

David remains a top icon in English football and has famously carved out a career for himself as a star on both the club and international stage, most notably playing for Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan, the Los Angeles Galaxy and the England national team.

Police was hesitating on details about the accident but  confirmed that  the ex-England captain, 39, was involved in the crash in London Colney, Hertfordshire, on Saturday. A car involved was quoted as one grey Audi RS6 car whic they claimed had collided with a silver Mitsubishi Colt.

According to them, the male driver of the Audi was slightly injured.
