Fashola, Amaechi, Ngige Makes Buhari’s List Of Nominated Ministers-The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday unveiled the names of a 21-man Ministerial nominee, who have been submitted by the Presidency for screening and confirmation as his team members for the nation’s cabinet. The names were originally submitted last week on the eve of the nation’s independence celebration as the presidency escaped a deadline failure parrying  a major critics onslaught if the deadline for the submission had exceeded September 30 2015. The lists were released on Tuesday morning read by Senate President Olusola Saraki, and twitted on the station’s twitter page.

amaechiThe names until now have remained sealed as the nation has been kept guessing. Surprisingly, many rumoured names which had appeared in the media and social media were featured as the Senate leader, Olusola Saraki read the names to members of the Senate.

The first indication of the unveiling of the names was dropped when Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) confirmed in a tweeted message on its twitter account.

Among those that featured in the list were former Rivers state governor, Rotimi Amaechi, Ex- Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, Former Anambra G overor, Chris Ngige, APC stakeholder spokesman, Lai Mohammed and a former Communication Minister, Audu Ogbe.

On the eve of Nigeria’s 55 Independence anniversary last week, th names of the nominees had been summited sealed in an envelope and sent by one of President Buhari’s henchmen,to eliver to the President of the Senate., Bukola Saraki.

However, Saraki speaking on Tuesday has said the screening of the ministerial nominees would commence on Tuesday next week. October 13.
