The released manifest has bought  hope to many families whose loved ones survived the crash and despair to others who may have lost loved ones.

After a running verbal battle between the Nigeria Media and authorities of the Nigeria Aviation management, a list of those who were Victims of the aircraft was released .

As the manifest was released late on Thursday night, of note was the absence of the name of Gbenga Obasanjo, who had been speculated as having been in the plane.

As authorities came out with details of those occupying the plane, Gbenga Obasanjo’s name was conspicuously missing, meaning that those who sighted him at the Airport as the plane was taking off may not have known that he did not board the plane.
