Ghana Former Football Star, Nii Ordartey Lamptey Fathered Three Illegitimate Children

Elikem-Gloria-OdarteyFormer Ghanaian International football star, Nii Ordartey Lamptey, has just discovered that the three children he had fathered for several years have no biological links with him as his wife of 20 years has been discovered to have engaged in years of cocktails of infidelity and extra marital affairs.

Shockingly too, Lamptey had shown enough commitment to the children, such that has devastated his ego and he is now making his way to the court for  divorce.

The 38-year-old discovery was necessitated by a suspicion after the former wife, named Gloria  refuses to give up her act of promiscuity and he solicited for a DNA test.

The shocking result however revealed  the kids are not his biological children.

The woman claims the former Anderlecht and Aston Villa player was the one who suggested an artificial insemination after realizing he was infertile. According to reports, Gloria is now claiming that the man is infertile, and that it was her husband who suggested for an artificial insemination.
According to reports, Nii Odartey Lamptey though has discovered  his wife’s infidelity for several years but decided to stay in the marriage out of love and the chain of businesses they own together.

A source close to the former Ghana star revealed to Goal Ghana that  he has on several occasions ‘fought’ with his wife to make her change her cheating ways.

Lamptey who is the owner of Golden Lions Soccer Academy and Glow Lamp International School is now heading to court for a divorce after over 20 years of marriage.

The former Anderlecht and Aston Villa star has reportedly filed for a divorce from his wife who he claims has deceived him all these years.

I thought they were my children but upon a DNA test, I got to know that they are not my biological children. The issue is in court so I’m pleading, because it is a legal issue I don’t want to go through so many things, but I am 100% sure that the children are not mine after 20-years of marriage. We had five children but two passed away so we were left with only 3 and they are not mine” The former Aston Villa player told reporters

At the same time, his estranged wife Gloria Lamptey (pictured above) is claiming that it was Lamptey who suggested they use artificial insemination after realizing he was infertile. A claim Lamptey denies. A close friend of the former Anderlecht footballer said he’d on several occasions caught his wife cheating on him but stayed with her because of his love for her and the businesses they own together.

Fashion Designer/Actor and one of two Ghana’s representative at this year’s Big Brother Africa reality television show, Elikem Kumordzi, has been rumoured as possible father of one of Gloria’s children, even though the actor has denied the rumour.

Lamptey was once so obsessed with his wife he saw her as an asset. In an interview sometimes ago with Halifax Ansah-Addo of Daily Guide Ghana Newspaper, asking him about his wife, this was his response: Her name is Gloria. She comes from a rich background and the father, Christian Kofi was one of Kwame Nkrumah’s right hand men. She once contested Miss Ghana. People did not want me to marry her. When my mother died people said I was not taking care of her and that I had killed her because of my wife. I know I did my best for my parents. I bought a house and a car for my mother and gave her all she needed.”

Odartey Lamptey, at age 16, was arguably the youngest player of Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars, and he is best remembered for his outstanding performance during Senegal 92 and Tunisia 94.
