Prime Minister David Cameron relishes his new precious gift- the family’s newly arrived baby girl who came three weeks early last week.
Here the golden father sniffs baby Florence Rose Endellion in a passionate fatherly cuddle to show off his fatherly affinity to the baby.
Eye witness account said the baby girl turned out to be a clearl spitting image of her father who in this picture gives a loving peck and cuddle.
The doting Prime Minister, 43, showed off five-day-old Florence Rose Endellion yesterday after leaving hospital with wife Samantha, 39.
Their new daughter – swaddled in a white blanket – was oblivious to attention as she slept off the day shaking off the hospital pressure..
Sunday Mirror disclosed that the similarities between the two were striking with Florence having daddy’s nose and hair texture and colour.
Florence was born this week, a month early, as her parents holidayed in Cornwall with children, Nancy, six and Arthur, four. They left Truro’s Royal Cornwall hospital on Friday but will enjoy the rest of their holiday as a family rather than dash back to London.
It is not known whether they now plan to visit St Endellion – the Cornish village that gave their daughter her unusual middle name.
Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg said the PM had not yet decided when to return to Downing Street and said: “He obviously wants to take some time off, like any young dad does.”
A No 10 spokesman added: “Mother and baby are doing well and look forward to spending the rest of their holiday in Cornwall with family and friends.”
