“Nigerians are already on Warpath”, Says Ribadu-Former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has expressed that Nigerians are already on warpath as the entire nation now are confronted with PDP onslaught with its anti people policies and culture of impunity amongst other inflicted problems.
According to him, the ruling party will definitely lose the battle as it cannot suppress the will of the generality of the people. He made reference to the fact that many political heavyweights are living the party en-masse to register with APC because the politicians want to be on the side of the people.
“What is going on today is a war between Nigerians and PDP. People are living PDP because they want to be on the side of Nigerians, going by the level of anti people policies of the party and its impunity amongst others,” the APC chieftain said.
“Nigerians now understand that PDP is fighting them while APC symbolises the platform for change where every Nigerian of goodwill would actualise their dreams of a united and prosperous nation”
Ribadu reiterated APC’s commitment to transforming Nigeria and urged those yet to decide to join the train of APC to do so and be part of history.
“APC will never allow universities to go on strike for months. We will fight corruption for sure and tackle insecurity and the ravaging poverty in Nigeria,” Ribadu said.
Ribadu spoke further on the issue of national interest as raised recently in a letter from the former president, Olusegun Obasanjo to President Goodluck Jonathan, claiming the former president’s efforts should be commended for alerting the nation on various issues of national importance.

According to the former EFCC tzar, the former President is a man of dignity who should be accorded respect and appreciated for his immense contribution to our nation’s progress.
Mallam Ribadu, , declared that ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo’s contribution to our national development, peace and progress should not be underrated, claiming that his recent open letter to President Goodluck Jonathan was a good point of example of his (Obasanjo’s) good wish for the nation.
He described the former president’s recent letter to President Jonathan as a symbolising a good development in the history of Nigeria.
According to him, Obasanjo deserved commendation for saying what other Nigerians lacked the courage to say to the authorities and his courage should be commended.
Mallam Ribadu claimed he was full of confidence that the letter would bring something positive to Nigeria in the long run.
