President Goodluck Jonathan Treated For Stress In London-Nigeria’s President,  Goodluck Jonathan is indisposed and has been treated in an undisclosed private hospital in London.

He has been advised by medical experts to take some days off duty to rest following his failing health as he reached London, where he had been detailed to attend  a meeting of Nigeria’s Honorary International Investors’ Council. He arrived in London on Wednesday.

A source hinted that the president was treated for exhaustion and stress and advised to stay off duty for fews days.

Mr. Abati said the president became indisposed and could not be present at the opening of the meeting on Thursday. He said the President has since been examined by competent medical practitioners and “he has been advised to rest for a few days”.

Though the nature of Jonathan’s indisposition remain secretive, Mr. Abati claimed he had been strictly advised to take a rest.

“The Presidency wishes to assure all Nigerians that President Jonathan’s condition is nothing serious and that the medical attention he has sought is only precautionary,” the spokesperson said.
