A LAMENT: It’s official: I can’t vote in this election as INEC has failed to provide me with a voter card. I endured severe hardship and skipped work to register here but on the day, INEC failed to provide us with our cards, saying its printers were faulty. Thereafter I made several visits to INEC’s FCT office as well as the electoral office in Karu. I was told my card would be made available at my polling booth on election day. But today, I’ve been told I can’t be accredited without a card.
