Whitney Houston to be honoured by hundreds of friends

 It has been revealed that departed Whitney Houston family want ex husband Bobby Brown out of sight for now because of what they called a protection shield for  Houston fortunes.

It is being suspected that Bobby Brown has been leeching on to his daughter  Bobbi Kristina  so thyat he would use the daughter as a stepping stone into Whitney’s million.

Bobbi Kristina, Whitney’s only daughter is the sole heir to Whitney Houston‘s fortune .

According to sources, Whitney’s mom Cissy Houston and other family members believe that Bobby has been shown immense interest in his daughter so that he would use her to gain from his former wife’s fortunes. .

Family sources told celebrity Magazine TMZ ... Cissy Houston is desperately and  aggressively trying to block Bobby from getting close to 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina, fearing it’s just a ploy to line his pockets with Whitney’s millions.

The family is convinced that Bobby is broke, and he’s making a play for his daughter’s affection to latch on to what could be an estate worth around $20 million, and that figure could double by the end of this year because of many other royalties..

As TMZ first reported … Bobby tried to visit his daughter earlier this week, but the family shut him down.

TMZ was told  friends of the Houston family have already contacted Bobby and warned him he is persona non grata at Whitney’s funeral and in Bobbi Kristina’s life.

There’s a lot of bad blood between Whitney’s family and Bobby Brown, because they believe he was the driving negative force in her life that led her down the substance abuse path.  They also believe he’s largely responsible for Bobbi Kristina’s drug and alcohol struggles.

As for Bobby Brown … people in his camp tell TMZ, he’s well aware of the family’s animosity toward him and wants to bury the hatchet for the sake of his daughter.

However, as the countdown begins for the late singer’s burial, a list of top star that will attend the funeral has emerged.

Oprah Winfrey, one of Whitney’s admirers and personal advisers  made the list

It has beenconfirmed that Oprah.is one of the stars who has received one of the coveted invitations to Whitney Houston‘s funeral on Saturday and she has confirmed her attendance.

Houston family sources hinted TMZ that  several of Houston’s famous friends have been invited, but Oprah is by far the most famous person on the guest list.

Other top stars include Kevin CostnerStevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin and they are all expected to participate in the funeral services.

Whitney Houston‘s aunt Mary Jones — the woman who discovered the singer’s body in the hotel bathtub, pulled her out and tried reviving her showed up at LAX yesterday to fly back east for the singer’s funeral.

Whitney’s aunt, Mary Jones, was in Whitney’s room, laid out her dress for the Clive Davis party and then left for 30 minutes.  When she returned, she knocked at the bathroom door and entered to find Whitney submerged in the bathtub.

Mary tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate Whitney before paramedics arrived

Kevin Costner, Whitney’s film mate  wants to honor his co-star with good memory.

The actor will speak at Whitney Houston‘s funeral Saturday, joining other stars  list of those to honor the singer.

The two co-starred in Whitney’s highest grossing film, The Bodyguard. Whitney also performed I Will

Always Love You in the film as well.

Costner will also be joined by Clive Davis, who sources say has “been a rock” for the family as he was lifting up the family souls by talking to family on hourly basis.

The Bodyguard grossed over $400 million. More lits to attend the funeral are expected at the funeral holding on Saturday at the  New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, East Orange, United States.
