The newly  appointed  Director-General of Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation(NTDC, Mrs Sally Nbanefo has called on Nigerians in the Diaspora to take active parts in all issues concerning Nigeria, urging that the success of Nigeria is the pride of  every Nigerian across the World.

Speaking recently during the just concluded World Trade Market in London, Mrs  Mbanefo expressed dissatisfaction about low participation of Nigerians and non- involvement in the buzzing social and economic activities which took place in this year’s World Travel Market Nigerian stand.  WTM  holds yearly in London’s EXCEL  and until this year proving very eventful and memorable, Nigeria’s previous participation had been a lackluster event.  The business event which featured  tourism exhibitions from across the World  ran for four days, focusing on what individual Toursim destination countries across the world have got to offer in selling their nations tourism endowments to the outside World.

With Nigeria  putting up one of the best appearance in this years international event and stamping her feet  with various impressive business meetings and cultural activities, Mbanefo said she noticed there was no enough participation by Europe based Nigerians who would have made a difference in selling the nation more with their wealth of knowledge and ideas in Europe. She thanked those who were present, mainly journalists for their involvement, urging them to tell Nigerians in the Diaspora of the good outings of World Travel Market 2013.

We are ready on our own part to lift them up in accreditation and in celebration of our own as a nation.
